Doing Business in China: An Introduction to Chinese Business Culture and Etiquette

Having a good understanding of Chinese business culture and etiquette is one of the most important routes through to trading successfully in China.  In this seminar, The Confucius Institute at the University of Sheffield will deliver a 30-minute session on Business Mandarin for beginners, Hugh McDaniel; Managing Director of China Brompton will share his experience and tell us about how small talks can lead to big deals in China.  We have also invited Yee Kwan Chan, the Founder of Yee Kwan Ice Cream to speak to us about her experience from Dragon’s Den to exporting their handcrafted ice cream to China.
