How long have you worked at BirchenallHowden for? I’ve worked at BirchenallHowden for 3 and a half years.

Why did you want to work at BirchenallHowden? I’ve always wanted to work in ICT and I was attracted to BirchenallHowden because it was a small company. I’ve been given a much broader overview of the company and gained lots of different experiences of the business. I doubt that I would have gained as much experience in the same amount of time in a larger company!

What do you think are the benefits of working in a small business? You get to learn so much in a short space of time. I’ve gained a wide range of knowledge and experiences in ICT both within the company itself and through spending time with a very wide array of clients.  BirchenallHowden’s clients vary widely from a few computers to hundreds and across lots of different sectors.

What do you think you have added to the business? I would like to think that I’ve added some freshness into the company through my eagerness to learn and my general enthusiasm!

What was the biggest surprise? The biggest surprise for me was the relaxed office environment!

What is the most exciting you have done since working at BirchenallHowden? I’ve found it pretty exciting working with one of our larger clients, VOICE Marketing Ltd. I’ve also found it quite exciting to be both 1st and 2nd line support – finding solutions to their issues both remotely and working in partnership with their internal IT team on large projects.

How do you think this position has helped your future career prospects? My career prospects are pretty strong in remaining at BirchenallHowden. My aim is to be able to do more 3rd ICT support in the near future and to continue to progress in the company.
