How long have you worked at Tinsley Bridge for? I’ve worked here for 7 months.

Why did you want to work at Tinsley Bridge? I undertook some work experience here, which was extended to a paid placement. At the end I was offered a full-time position and was very happy to accept it!

What do you think are the benefits of working in a small business? You don’t get overtaken by everything! I also think that you feel more beneficial to the company since the work force isn’t as large as the big companies and so you don’t get overlooked. You get to learn a lot in a short space of time by getting a really good overview of the entire business. I’ve gained so much experience here as there are a number of companies within the Group.

What do you think you have added to the business? I’ve certainly added some much needed youth to the company which is important in looking towards the next generation of people to work here! And I’ve hopefully increased the likelihood of TBG employing more graduates in the future.

What is the most exciting thing you have done since working at Tinsley Bridge? The most exciting thing has been preparing the accounts for the end of the financial year, which is always a quite exciting but pressurised time at the company!

How do you think this position has helped your future career prospects? This position has helped hugely! I have learnt so much in such a short space of time. I’ve had so many experiences and have been involved in a lot of different things which are beneficial to my future that I don’t believe I would have had working in a larger company!
