The Tour de Yorkshire is set to sweep into Sheffield on Sunday 30 April, as Stage 3 of the prestigious cycling event will see the dramatic finale to the race weekend take place at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge.

Set to recreate some of the magic Tour de France brought to Sheffield back in 2014, riders will follow a 194.5km route from Bradford to Fox Valley on the last day of the event.

Sheffield’s gruelling hills will once again take centre stage, as 22km of the finishing circuit will include four categorised climbs at Deepcar, Wigtwizzle, Ewden Height and Midhopestones, followed by a sprint along Manchester Road in Stocksbridge before the race climax at Fox Valley.

While spectators are expected to line many areas of the race route, it’s the Sheffield climbs where some of the best action will be taking place and no doubt these hot-spots are likely to be really busy. Approximate race timings for the climbs are listed below (please note these are subject to change).

For those wanting the comfort of facilities and refreshments, alongside a host of family entertainment, the hub at Fox Valley will offer a great atmosphere for spectators, as well as all the excitement of the race finale. Here's a handy event map with useful information if you're planning to head there.
