Two of the biggest names in music will perform at the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield next week ahead of the venue closing its doors for the first time in 22 years as the Motorpoint Arena embarks on an eight week multi-million pound investment this summer.

Between June 27th and June 30th, James Barrett is opening a ‘pop-up’ restaurant in a Totally Tipi tent at Green Directions. Tables of 8 can be booked for the pop-up restaurant on Thursday (Charity night supporting Kids ‘n’ Cancer), Friday and Saturday nights with a more informal barbecue on Sunday night. During the day on Saturday and Sunday a bistro will offer a set menu with cookery demonstrations on Saturday and a wedding showcase on Sunday. Completing the programme, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and the Sheffield JCI are having a networking event on Thursday lunchtime.

Galvanize also forms part of the city’s celebrations of 100 years of stainless steel. The festival is expected to attract visitors from within the region and beyond.

The research, which was conducted by hotel.info, analysed the post-stay reviews of over 25,700 hotel guests to reveal the best and worst service levels across the UK based on friendliness and staff competence.
