The centenary of the invention of stainless steel will be commemorated at the RHS Flower Show in Tatton Park, Cheshire this July thanks to an exciting sponsorship by Sanctuary Group.
A special edition book has been unveiled as part of the ongoing 100 Years of Stainless Steel celebrations. The limited edition publication, commissioned by Marketing Sheffield and produced by Sheffield Newspapers, was launched at a public event on Tuesday (23 April) at Watertsones (Orchard Square, Sheffield).
As Sheffield commemorates 100 years of stainless steel, Kelham Island Museum will pay its own tribute to the stainless steel story with two new exhibitions, opening on 01 April 2013.
The Princess Royal visited Sheffield yesterday (Thursday 10 January 2013) and was given a preview of the 100 Years of Stainless Steel Celebrations that the City has planned for 2013.
