Sheffield BID

Sheffield BID is the accountable body for the city centre's Business Improvement District which was established by ballot in 2015. The city centre BID scheme is delivered through a business partnership of 500+ UK and independent retailers, hospitality and commercial employers, across 244 streets in the BID area.

Sheffield BID is an initiative that delivers activities and projects to create a more vibrant and economically successful city centre, supporting growth across a diverse range of sectors across retail, corporate, leisure and culture, education and public services.

The BID’s investment focuses on achieving higher footfall and city centre vibrancy; easier access and navigation; a safer day-time and night-time economy; a cleaner environment; and a powerful voice for the businesses that pay into the BID.

The BID is also responsible for a transformational strategy (Alive After Five) to develop a more vibrant early evening economy. The supporting marketing campaign is driving a joined up offer between retailers, bars, restaurants and leisure providers.  Find out more at | #SheffAfter5
