Leading UK building consultancy Monaghans has acquired an established multi-disciplinary practice in Paris as part of its continued growth.

The organisation, with head offices in Sheffield, has seen a significant boost in demand in the last 12 months for its services both in the UK and abroad.

Monaghans has acquired Bush – led by Derek Bush who has been in the French capital for over 25 years. He will work alongside David Cadenhead.

It is the latest stage in the development of Monaghans, based at Victoria Quays, Sheffield. Growth across a number of sectors has included:

  • The successful delivery of a range of UK retail projects for amongst others Harrods, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, John Lewis and TK Maxx.
  • Strategy and procurement support for the re-branding of Skoda Auto dealerships worldwide
  • A new look to Honda Motor Europe dealerships.

Mr Cadenhead is a highly experienced director who has previously held senior posts with Monaghans as well as Turner and Townsend and EC Harris where he led a number of large project teams in both the private and public sectors.

“I am delighted to be driving the further expansion of Monaghans through the new office in Paris. We are building a team who will offer expertise and make a real difference to Monaghans and their customers across Europe,” said Mr Cadenhead.

“David’s return to Monaghans and expansion through our new offices in Paris is further proof of the emergence of Monaghans as a real force within built asset consultancy. We have developed an impressive track record in retail and commercial sectors as well as other areas such as residential,” said Craig Hibbert, Group Managing Director for Monaghans.
