Coda commissioned to work on Sheffield landmark

Architectural design practice Coda Studios has been commissioned to create new designs for a Sheffield landmark.
The Sheffield-based Coda team is working on the refurbishment of the existing Weston Tower that sits at the West Bar roundabout close to the city's law courts and the new Hilton Hotel.
The Weston Tower project will be a mixed use development featuring retail units, office space, leisure and apartment complete with new roof gardens and communal space.
Coda is working on designs that propose new extensions to the podium level fronting West Bar and additional storeys on top of the existing tower.
"The whole West Bar area is being completely redeveloped and an iconic structure like the one we have in mind will make a major statement about Sheffield's continuing development and prosperity," said Coda managing director David Cross.
