Morgan is an entrepreneur and business consultant. Morgan founded an IT Services company in 2002, and grew it for 12 years before exiting to an MBO. He has 10 years-experience of advising and mentoring other entrepreneurs in various capacities, principally focussing on high-growth start-ups and more established businesses, across a range of ‘new economy’ sectors including tech and digital, independent food & drink, and social enterprise. Morgan is a member of Business Sheffield’s Growth Team and regularly works with Sheffield-based businesses on classic growth challenges such as investment readiness, recruitment & retention, governance, strategy, marketing and financial management.
Chris has 25 years-experience as an MD, starting and running his own businesses in the IT, Tech and e-commerce sectors. Starting in the 90s as a business consultant, this led to the acquisition of a struggling IT company in need of turnaround. After converting this to success over the following 10 years he then founded an e-commerce company in 2003. He now has a toolbox of skills to help tech entrepreneurs and start-ups develop strategies for growth and provide no nonsense, practical advice to deliver success. Chris is a member of Business Sheffield’s Growth Team and specialises in businesses requiring expertise in IT, e-commerce and manufacturing.
As an entrepreneur Glyn has acquired broad, and in many cases deep, commercial experiences with start-ups and established business with ambitions for growth. During a career in the tech sector spanning more than 28 years he has launched three start-ups, created and led strategic growth plans, managed change over many years in a very dynamic sector, driven marketing plans, built and coached future leaders and sales teams, launched cloud based SaaS and raised business finance (including private equity) among many other things. He continues to have a passion for building and implementing early-stage business strategies and developing and executing real-world growth plans with ambitious maturing companies.
