A delegation of key partners from across the city are set to showcase Sheffield to thousands of investors, funders and developers at the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), 17 – 19 May.

Led by Invest Sheffield, the team will see representatives from the Olympic Legacy Park, Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District (AMID), Capital & Centric, Sheffield Property Association, Citu, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Homes England, join forces to exhibit at the event and highlight the investment opportunities available in Sheffield.

The Sheffield team will be amongst many other major cities and regions attending to showcase their regions and open new investment discussions. In addition to exhibiting at the event, Sheffield will be showcased on-stage too, where local business leaders will be speaking at several panel events and round table discussions.

Sheffield speakers will be talking about how the city is set to capitalise on the government’s £37m Levelling Up Fund, take advantage of the upcoming Integrated Rail Plan electrification and how local government boosted regeneration is delivering over 2.5msq ft of mixed-use space in the city, with current projects totalling over £770m and even more in the pipeline.

Having recently been named as the UK’s greenest city, they’ll also be showing how pioneering initiatives, such as the award-winning Grey to Green scheme, are transforming the city whilst committing to a more sustainable future for Sheffield.

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of UKREiiF, said: “Sheffield has a number of investment opportunities both ongoing and planned which total billions of pounds, and this - coupled with a great location and proposed infrastructure upgrades – means Sheffield will be of huge interest to the hundreds of investors and developers attending the event.

UKREiiF is committed to finding potential investors and developers to view exciting propositions and opportunities in every area of the UK and having the support of Sheffield is a real coup for the event in May.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the first annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds, 17 - 19 May 2022.

The forum aims to attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries. At time of publication, over 4000 delegates have already signed up to the 2022 event. For more information visit: www.ukreiif.com
