Celebrating Marnock

Celebrating Marnock! Marnock was one of the most prolific and celebrated landscape gardeners of the 19th century.

He designed lots of places we know and love in Sheffield today.

Over June 2023 there is an exciting programme of events for Celebrating Marnock taking place at Marnock sites in Sheffield: Sheffield Botanical Gardens, Weston Park and Sheffield General Cemetery.

These activities include a free trail, an exhibition, talks, walks and tours, plant sales, art sessions, workshops kids’ activities and more.

There is something for everyone including families, avid gardeners, and heritage enthusiasts.

Activities will also be happening nationwide across the summer of 2023, with Marnock sites all over Britain taking part.
