A public talk on how to apply Buddha's teachings to reduce pain, grief and worry when situations in life change. The talk will explain about how understanding impermanence we can have a more realistic view of life and free ourselves from unnecessary suffering. You will learn how to: * embrace every moment of your life * let go of painful experiences * become a calm and happy person all the time and benefit others. There will be a guided meditation to start to be able to apply the teaching to our own personal situation. Refreshments are provided and the ticket includes the opportunity to buy a half price membership card for September and October 2024.
