A family friendly workshop open to everyone, that runs parallel with An Expanding Field which allows you to create your own expanded paintings under the guide of the curator of the show, and artist, Stu Burke.
Expanded painting is a fun and limitless form of art, which rewards imagination and creativity. Like the exhibition, the workshops will be playful, colourful and fun. Children under 16 must have either parental supervision or consent, bringing younger children, don't worry you can get involved too and make your own art. Number of tickets must include all adults too.
The workshops are not exclusively for families and children, so book a slot today to come down and gain an understanding of expanded painting. It will be a chance to not only make art, but to ask questions too. The workshop will take place in a working artist studio, where all materials will be provided.
It is a small studio space with substances such as paints and glues, so any allergies must be considered before booking. Unfortunately, the gallery and studio are upstairs (quite narrow) and have no alternative disabled access at present.
