Festive Opening Weekend at Sheffield Christmas Market
Ready to get festive? Sheffield Christmas Markets will be opening in style with a special weekend of festivities on Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 November.
In addition to the return of the popular Alpine Lodge Bars, log cabin stalls and Big Wheel, the Festive Opening Weekend will see the market come alive with a whole host of entertainment, including street performers, brass bands, choirs and dance displays.
An outdoor cinema will also be screening classic Christmas films throughout the two-day festive weekend.
Sheffield City Centre will also be illuminated with an array of twinkly lights and street decorations throughout the festive period.

The Moor cabins opening times:
Sunday to Thursday 10am-6pm and Friday & Saturday 10am-7pm
Pinstone Street cabins opening times:
Sunday to Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm
Bars open 11am-10pm every day.

Additional Information
Sheffield Christmas Market opens on Thursday 16 November, but the additional Festive Opening Weekend activity is taking place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November.
The annual 'Christmas Light Switch On' is unable to go ahead this year due to crowd safety concerns as a result of the transformative works on Fargate.
