Halloween Masquerade Ceilidh

Join Powerhouse Ceilidh Band on Tuesday 31 October for a fun night of spooky tunes and ceilidh dancing!

Sheffield’s finest purveyors of geek-rock-folk-metal ceilidh, Powerhouse and their caller Daisy Black will guide you through the steps of a range of folk dances; jigs, reels, hornpipes and polkas, all sound-tracked by powerful rock/folk/metal tunes (with bonus pop culture references for all ages).

If you have never been to a ceilidh before, have no fear! Dance experience is not required and you will be guided through the steps. 

So, put on your mask and dancing shoes for an energetic and exciting night of ceilidh!

Powerhouse are a five piece ceilidh band consisting of melodeon, flute, electric guitar, bass and drums. Brought together by a mutual love of rock, beer, general geekiness and ceilidh, they combine traditional tunes with rock riffage and pop culture to tempt even the most determined non-dancer.
