In Search of the Hidden Porter Brook
Follow the emerging Porter Brook Trail from the hidden confluence with the River Sheaf on Platform 5 of the Sheffield Station.
This walk will take you to Hunters Bar, pausing to savour the rich mix of social, industrial, architectural and landscape history along the way, with some glimpses into the future too.
- Length: 1.9 miles (3km)
- Start: Salmon Sculpture outside Sheffield Railway station
- Finish: Hunters Bar
- Terrain: Level paved paths
- Grade: easy
- Led by: Simon Ogden and members of the Sheaf and Porter Rivers Trust.
- Sorry, but only assistance dogs are allowed on festival walks
