Catherine Edwards has worked with leather since 1990. She uses her experience to choose individual hides, checking for quality and finish, as well as investigating the provenance of each one from an animal welfare standpoint.

Catherine says: "All the leather that I use comes from J & E Sedgewick and Co – a tiny tannery just outside Walsall, who have been trading since 1900. They produce small batches of very high-quality leather from British cows, so I know that the animals have been well treated during their lifetimes and I can pass on that assurance to my customers.”
