Dr Cordula Van Wyhe will introduce you to the world of interwar fashions but will also question this narrative of 1920s modernity.
Not only were many of the sartorial trends and technical innovations apparent before WWI, but also older and even traditional fashions saw a last flowering during the inter-war years.
You will also have the opportunity to view the On Location | Costume Exhibition prior to the lecture.
