Life on the Farm: Summer Holiday Family Activity
Following sell-out half term sessions, there is now summer holiday sessions available!
If you didn’t get chance to visit last time, why not come along and find out all about life on the farm with this jam-packed 1 hour 30 session, perfect for kids aged 4-11, at Our Cow Molly – a working dairy farm in Sheffield.
You’ll get behind the scenes access, unavailable on regular farm open days, plus all of this:
- Informative and interactive farm tour
- Hands on experience of milking Molly
– our working life-sized model of a dairy cow
- Butter making (and tasting!) activity
- If we can find him, an interview with one of Our Cow Molly’s resident farmers
– got a burning question about life on the farm? This is your chance to ask it!

This is a popular session. Book early to avoid disappointment!
The event is outside so please dress appropriately for conditions on the day. In the summer most of the cows will be out in the fields so we can’t guarantee an up-close experience, but we will get the best view of the cows possible on the day.
Booking is essential using the online form - please book for all attendees over 3 years, including adults.
Booking is complete once payment has been made.
Facilities and parking: There are public toilets and a car park at Our Cow Molly. Please meet next to the vending machines in the car park for the session.
Your responsibilities: Please make sure you purchase a ticket for everyone who is attending, including any adults. This is so we can safely manage the number of people attending. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 3 years of age come for free and do not need a ticket.
