Sheffield Creative Guild host the second of their Makers’ Markets on Saturday 6 August, 10am - 4pm, in Orchard Square.
The market is a fantastic opportunity for local makers and crafters to sell their work, as well as for families to attend free creative workshops, run in collaboration with Ignite Imaginations.
Taking place in Orchard Square in Sheffield City Centre, this year’s markets will showcase a new selection of the fantastic creative talent that Sheffield has to offer.
From pottery to embroidery and prints, to accessories and audio electronics- this will be a wonderful opportunity to peruse a wide-range of craft and wares from 14 different stallholders, which have all been curated by the Guild team.
Stallholders across the two dates include BAREmbroidery; Forever Sleepy Designs; Mollie Milton Ceramics; Fran Rawlings Art; Dead Lavender; Nichol Stokes Designs; Mary House Designs; Designs by Fern; Tillie Rose Studio; Oliver Street Pottery; Tripping on Wires; Pipit Crafts; Helen Drake Illustration and Donna Brewins-Cook Art.
There’s fun for everyone, with Ignite Imaginations hosting family-friendly art activities during the day, which will be free for all to join in. Last year’s activities included painting with everyday materials and printmaking.
Set against the backdrop of Orchard Square's vibrant mural and situated in the heart of the city, this will be a wonderful day to connect with local artists and makers.
These are the Guild’s second round of Makers’ Markets, with last Autumn’s markets proving a huge success. The Makers’ Markets are made possible with funding from the Economic Recovery Fund.
