A brand-new wellbeing fair is coming to Sheffield in 2023! Mind Body Spirit Sheffield Fair is going to bring the best local wellbeing businesses to The Workstation on Saturday 30 September.
The event, sponsored by Exposed Magazine, will include 29 stallholders selling everything from skincare products to artwork to crystals, and offering services ranging from tarot readings, to massages to reflexology.
There will be a number of stalls in the shopping zone, whilst the quiet zone will be the perfect place for attendees to fully relax and enjoy a treatment from one of many experienced therapists.
There will also be a workshop room, where a number of therapists, life coaches and yoga tutors will be delivering talks and demos throughout the day.
Confirmed speakers include instructor and life coach Beth Blake from Jazzy B Fitness, yoga teacher Gail Stephens from Dancing Warriors and tarot reader Phoebe Seymour from Now Zen Sheffield, who is also one of the co-organisers of the event.
Massage therapist Patrick Heath owns the Sheffield-based business Elements Bodyworks, and invited reiki therapist and tarot reader Phoebe, to collaborate on the event.
“We realised that between us, we knew some amazing sellers and therapists, and yet all the wellbeing fairs were outside of Sheffield,” says Patrick. “The closest fairs we could find were in Elsecar or Chesterfield. There was nothing in central or south of Sheffield, despite areas such as Ecclesall Road and Abbeydale Road being such brilliant hubs for independent wellbeing businesses.”
“Many of the events I have been to have called themselves mind body and spirit fairs, but all too often, they only offer spiritual stalls such as psychics mediums, or are only concerned with fitness and diet,” adds Phoebe. “We wanted to create an event that not only showcases the best wellbeing businesses in Sheffield, but that truly encompasses all three aspects – offering products and services for the mind, the body and the soul."
“We hope to provide something for everyone, whether you are on a journey to improve your mental health, or want to discover a new and healthy habit to make you feel physically better.”
£4 advance tickets, £3 concessions. £5 on the day.
