Niagara to the Bridge of Uitred – a Gem of the Upper Don Trail
Enjoy one of the most beautiful and completed parts of the Upper Don Trail with a fascinating history of ancient settlements, large scale water power, forgotten industry and woodland crafts.

Start: Junction of Penistone Road and Claywheels Lane (SK332912).
Finish: Oughtibridge.
Parking on Claywheels Lane.
Public transport: 86 from Angel Street CG3 at 15:54. Yellow tram to Leppings Lane and walk to start.
Return from Oughtibridge on 57, 57A
Terrain: Surfaced woodland tracks. Two A-frame barriers not suitable for larger disabled scooters.
Grade: Leisurely.
