2022 – it’s time to celebrate! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park will be celebrating its role as the country’s leading legacy project outside the host city. A highlight will be the Olympic Legacy in Action dinner on Friday 9 September 2022, at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS).
This world class venue, at the heart of the Park, has been the training ground for Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Anthony Joshua OBE, Will Bailey MBE and Nicola Adams OBE to name but a few.
This date marks the 10th anniversary of the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Along with Jessica, Anthony, Will and Nicola many other Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have trained at the EISS over the years, along with those who made London 2012 happen, like Lord Seb Coe, and other esteemed sons and daughters of Sheffield have been invited.
