The Abbeydale Street Trees team have received funding from Sheffield City Council Economic Recovery Fund to create a new parklet on Abbeydale Road. This oasis of green will be a new community space, with plants, seating, bike parking and art installations for you to enjoy, and it's being unfurled for your pleasure on Saturday 28th May.
Have a wander through the ages on a history walk of the area with the indubitably marvellous Rebecca L. Hearne, create poetic works of wonder with Sheffield's own nature journalist & author Joe Shute, join the art antics with Emily or have some fabulous Circus Fun with Rosie.
Party on with music from Solar Love Society & poetry by Benoit Compin at Coles Corner from 4.30pm and grab a special botanical cocktail to sip while listening to some spoken word at The Glass Frog. Local business are joining in on the day and you'll find all sorts of offers and entertainment from Pop Up Sarni to Coles Corner.
