Pride is a 2014 British historical comedy-drama film directed by Matthew Warchus and written by Stephen Beresford.
The film is based on the true story of a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the 1984 UK miners' strike, at the onset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign.
Doors open at 7pm in order for guests to get a drink at the licenced bar and look through the free zine/programme you receive on the door, before the film starts at 7.30pm.
