Sheffield Food Festival 2022

Sheffield Food Festival is a large market-style events that celebrates the city’s vibrant food and drink scene, showcasing great local produce and mouth-watering street food. This year the festival will coincide with Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, taking place 2 – 5 June.

Currently the city’s largest free to attend event, the festival takes place in the city centre across the Peace Gardens, Winter Garden, Millennium Square, Town Hall Square and Pinstone Street, attracting thousands of visitors across the weekend.

The food festival is split into four distinctive areas. The Artisan Market showcases a whole host of local food producers from across Sheffield and the wider region, who offer fresh produce, spices, preserves, oils, cakes, craft beers, spirits and more.

The extensive Street Food Market is also jam-packed with delicious treats from local companies, with over 90% of the traders based in the city, demonstrating how strong and diverse the local food scene is.

Hosted by Heeley City FarmThe Green Village brings together an array of inspiring organisations, groups and businesses working on sustainable produce and innovations.

Finally, the Eats, Treats and Beats Village features two main stages, with one for demonstrations and talks from local chefs and celebrities, while the festival stage will host live entertainment with bands and DJs. All accompanied by a great selection of local brewery bars which will help keep the festival atmosphere going well into the evening.
