Step Out from Totley to Holmesfield's Historic Houses
This walk, on the outskirts of the city, passes three 16th century manor houses. There are the added bonuses (on a clear day) of spectacular views into the Cordwell Valley and back over Sheffield.

- Finish: at start
- Parking: Roadside parking on Baslow Road.
- Public transport: 97 from Arundel Gate at 10:26. 218 from Interchange at 10.10. Alight first stop after Mickley Lane Co op and walk back to library.
- Terrain: Field paths and woodland tracks plus a small amount of pavement/road walking. One sustained climb plus stiles.
- Grade: moderate.
