Summer Holiday Activities: Wild Play Woodland Adventures
Join Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust for a fun packed family Wild Play adventures.
Each week has a different theme but all of them will involve nature, games, exploration and adventure.
Suitable for ages 3-9 yrs approx.
22nd/ 23rd August – Survival! (Build shelters, make natural compasses and navigate to survive)
29th/30th August – Pond Life and Adventure Trail at Greno Woods (Pond dipping and woodland fun – see separate event)

Booking: Essential and online only.
You only need to book a ticket for the participating children, but adults must stay too. Younger siblings (age 2 or under) may attend for free with a paying older sibling. Booking is complete once payment has been made.
Come prepared: The event is 2 hours and is totally outside whatever the weather, so prepare for woodland conditions! We meet outside the café and set off on our adventure as promptly as we can so try to arrive on time so you are not left behind!
Facilities and parking: There are public toilets and a voluntary contribution car park at the Woodland Discovery Centre. If it is full, please do NOT park on any roadside verges on Abbey Lane, please park around the corner on Whirlowdale Road, and walk to the entrance. Allow an extra few minutes for this. Tickets applicable for your chosen date only.
