Each year, as Hillsborough Park gets ready to host the main Tramlines Festival, the rest of the city also gears up to stage a whole host of music events... 

Taking place across outdoor spaces, pubs, bars and music venues in Sheffield City Centre and beyond, expect a whole load of events to suit all music tastes, with The Fringe at Tramlines, 22 - 24 July 2022.

Plot 22 are hosting a great selection of music this year.

Thursday 21st July

 

20:00 - 21:15 - AubreyTRNQL

Sheffield native producer/DJ AubreyTRNQL will be behind the decks for the whole night, opening with a multi-genre live set.

 

21:15 - 21:45 - HYPHYN

With influences from MF DOOM and slowthai, Sheffield's own HYPHYN has been building a strong local fan base over the last few years and is undoubtedly one of the city’s most promising up-and-comers.

 

21:45 - 22:15 - Vinch

After shutting down his own Boiler Room set at the end of last year - as well as performing as a special guest to a 1,500 strong crowd at Lord Apex's 4/20 headline - Vinch is sure to bring energy to an intimate crowd.

 

22:15 - 23:00 - DXVL

Based in Croydon, DXVL is at the forefront of UK underground rap. Through also producing his own songs the artist has been able to tailor his own cloud rap genre. Expect a high energy set.

 

Friday 22nd July

 

22:00 - 23:30 - Creola

Creola’s debut release recently featured on BBC Sheffield & the Zone 88 resident has been busy blending sounds of House/Acid/ Techno/Bass DJing in support of some of the biggest names in underground electronic scene.

 

23:30 - 00:30 - Burton Joyce

Co-head honcho at Manchester-based prolific party org Zutekh, Burton Joyce is a regular at Warehouse Project and Parklife with banging house/techno/breaks-style sets.

 

00:30 - 02:30 - Altern8

Pioneers of the old-school rave sound and iconic underground heroes, Altern8 take the headline slot for a mouth-watering two hours!

 

02:30 - 03:30 - Kwake

Breaks, bass, beeps & bleeps! KWAKE is creating sounds that propel you back to the early days of rave including his most recent unreleased track 'Double Helix' recently getting a spin on Radio 1 Dance by Jaguar.

 

03:30 - 04:30 - Rubes

Rubes crosses over sounds of Ghetto, Electro, Acid and Juke - all in all giving an energetic, fast-paced performance which will leave you knackered on the dancefloor!

 

04:30 - 06:00 - SEYK

Zone 88 resident SEYK's debut single 'Make Your Body Move' was recently picked up by Afrodeutsche and played on BBC Radio 6 Music. SEYK creates music with an all-out old school rave aesthetic crafting music and DJing Electro/Acid/Breakbeat/Techno styles.

 

Saturday 23rd July

 

Plot 22 will be open from 18:00 on Saturday 23rd July, bringing a wide range of DJ talent and genres to the venue – partying into the early hours!
