Each year, as Hillsborough Park gets ready to host the main Tramlines Festival, the rest of the city also gears up to stage a whole host of music events...
Taking place across outdoor spaces, pubs, bars and music venues in Sheffield City Centre and beyond, expect a whole load of events to suit all music tastes, with The Fringe at Tramlines, 22 - 24 July 2022.
The Frog & Parrot are hosting a great selection of bands this year.

Thursday 21 July
19:00 - Lightning Threads
A compelling power trio with an obsession and dedication to their music; embarking on bringing their flare and full force of Blues Rock & Roots to the scene.
20:00 - Matilda Shakes
An anthemic indie rock band based in Sheffield. The band utilise punchy driven guitars, raucous riffs, pounding drums and huge singalong club-worthy choruses.
21:00 - Sam Scherdel
Sam's husky gravelly vocal style ensures that he deserves to belong within the same faction as the likes of Rod Stewart and Kelly Jones, allowing him to explore Rock and Soul with justice. This said, his softer side makes him as good as any at delivering a modern ballad.
22:00 - Lilna & The Lions
Lina and the Lions, armed with their razor sharp pop sensibilities are certainly set to be more "newest wave classic” than soon forgotten 80’s soundtrack that never was.

19:00 - The Cavs
A 5 piece indie/rock outfit from Manchester, taking influences across multiple decades and genres from bands such as Kasabian, Elbow and The Libertines.
20:00 - Megan Wyn
A Manchester based indie-rock singer/ songwriter from Anglesey, Wales, with a single that’s been streamed in over 40 Countries!
21:00 - Pave
After selling out their most recent Manchester show at The Castle and continuing to release music that impacts its listeners, Pavé are a band to keep an eye on as their persistence to make their mark is defiant and unmatched.
22:00 - Dr Dr
Manchester-based indie act.
23:00 - Spangled
Offering an eclectic blend of witty, heartfelt lyrics, lively attitudes and punch the air riffs, proving there is still decadence in youth.

12:00 - Hugmynd
Blending English Folk, Americana, Blues, Indie-Folk, Ambient and Electric, he creates an eclectic Ambient-Alternative-Folk style.

14:00 - Vigilantes
Vigilantes are continuing the British tradition of taking American sounds and stuffing it with classic British tone.
15:00 - Hoofa
After meeting at a converted underground toilet in Camden, indie ambi-pop duo Hoofa have gone on to perform their vocal driven, foot stomping songs across the UK.
16:00 - Keiren Bowe
This Geordie lad has been slowly but surely climbing his way to the top of the indie charts over the past few years.
