Additional Information

'Wish You Were Here' goes beyond an exhibition – it's an invitation to witness the raw realities of homelessness.

The Archer Project have collaborated with known and up-and-coming artists from Sheffield's vibrant scene, including:

  • Corbin Shaw
  • Conor Rogers
  • George Law
  • Liah Edwardes
  • Mikk Murray
  • Rob Barber

Each of these talented artists has poured their creativity into crafting individual art installations. These installations, which include imagery of used coffee cups, stand as powerful symbols of the struggles faced by these individuals.

The recurring presence of the coffee cup, symbolic of their daily battles and repeated cries for help, weaves a poignant narrative throughout the exhibit. These installations will be displayed alongside objects that represent the unique identities of the individuals, creating a tapestry of stories that demand our attention and compassion.

Curated collaboratively by ID8 Photography, people with experience of rough sleeping and the ingenious minds at Black Eye Project.

This exhibit's setup mirrors a seaside gift shop's entrance – a doorway to understanding. As you journey through this thoughtfully crafted collection, you'll explore the unseen depths of our community.

Prepare to be moved, enlightened, and stirred to make a difference. Let's ignite conversations, spark change, and challenge perceptions about homelessness in the UK.
