You know you have a great life story, but how to tell it? Unlike writers of fiction starting with a blank canvas, for those writing life art may feel more like sculpture. This workshop will explore how to carve form and story from a chaotic, unwieldy lived life. The session will create a fun, confidential space to discuss the central ideas around the life writing genre. Miranda Doyle has also taught on the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education Diploma and Certificate in Narrative Nonfiction.
Miranda Doyle’s A Book of Untruths has been described by Irvine Welsh as a memoir with ‘a true writer’s voice’.
