Sheffield Indoor Attractions Reopening

With the next stage of lockdown restriction easing now officially going ahead, from Monday 17 May we'll start to see the welcome return of some of Sheffield’s best loved indoor visitor attractions and cultural venues.

While lots of the city’s museums, cinemas and entertainment venues are ready to safely reopen, there are some venues which will need to take a little longer. Theatres and music venues in particular, have planned their reopenings around specific events, so there will be a more staggered approach to the return of these types of venues.

Meanwhile, some outside visitor attractions such as Graves Park Animal FarmThe Tropical Butterfly HouseSheffield Manor Lodge and Mayfield Alpacas have already been allowed to reopen with restricted access to their indoor facilities, but this next stage will also allow more access to these spaces now too, although covid security measures at all attractions will be in place.

One thing all attractions and venues have in common, is that they require pre-booking visits in advance and walk-ins may not be available for lots of venues. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of venue reopening dates, along with their booking links below.
