Out & About will bring together cultural, community and hospitality businesses in the area, alongside community groups, local artists and creatives to celebrate creativity and making in Sheffield! Each of the four special Out & About Weekenders will have a theme of its own and offer a programme of FREE, family-friendly activities including drop-in creative workshops, exhibitions, newly-commissioned artworks, performances and events.
The CIQ Square (opposite Site Gallery and The Workstation on Brown Street in the city centre) will act as a central hub, at the heart of all the action and be transformed into an outdoor venue where you can hang out, buy food & drinks, and take part in the array of exciting activities.
In addition to this, venues throughout the CIQ will be getting involved and hosting their own activities in conjunction with the Out & About weekends. A map of the area will be available to help you explore everything on offer.
Freshly Squeezed is a two day festival of live music and workshops taking place in the CIQ Square programmed by and for young people featuring a selection of the most talented young musicians and producers in the city.
