Welcome to the city that inspires

Welcome to Sheffield - we'd love to show you around!

Inventive, inclusive, inspiring.

This is Sheffield and the people who shape it. A city of down‑to‑earth doers and restless creatives, constantly redefining a place that always manages to surprise.

A city of makers, past and future, where a legacy of craft fuels a collaborative, creative culture found nowhere else.

It’s a spirit that powers our two world‑leading universities, our thriving independent scene, our strong sense of community and adventure, and our famously friendly welcome.

And with the Peak District National Park as our backyard, you’re never far from space to breathe, wander and explore.

Look around — Sheffield is yours to discover.
