Manor Fields Park is increasingly known as a real ‘hidden gem’. A naturalistic district park tucked away just ten minutes from the City Centre.
Mon - Sun : Open 24 Hours
The park hosts two major events every year; Everyone’s Festival in the summer and a Community Bonfire around bonfire night which are both well attended. As well as these key events, many nature walks, foraging events, education activities are available throughout the year. You can keep up to date through the Manor Fields Park website and Facebook pages.
Manor Fields has an active and enthusiastic Friends group who meet the first Wednesday of every month at York House at the City Road entrance to the park. New members are always welcome to this friendly and sociable group.
Come and experience this natural urban wonder where you can easily forget city life and drift off into nature for an afternoon of bliss.
Manor Fields is a haven for wildlife with almost 90 species of birds recorded on site so far, thanks to the first class wildflower meadows, ponds, woodland pockets and management style that emphasises a more wild, natural look. A great place for families, the park has 2 playgrounds including an interactive sandpit, easy going pathways and informal natural play features across the whole site. For fitness and wellbeing, anyone can have a go on the Parkletics equipment, join in the weekly Parkrun or enjoy the Outdoor City run route.
