Meersbrook Park covers approximately 17.845 hectares and is situated in the centre of Meersbrook, an inner suburb of Sheffield about 2 miles outside the city centre.
Mon - Sun: Open 24 Hours
With a large amount of mature woodlands, incorporating woodland walks, the park was originally the grounds to Meersbrook Hall. Following acquisition in 1886 the park provided much needed breathing and recreational space in a rapidly expanding part of Sheffield.
Nowadays, it's also home to a popular play area funded by local volunteers, bowling green, skate bowl, community building, youth shelter, dog free zone, multi-use games area and an all-weather football pitch.
It offers stunning views of the city, a secret walled garden and Bishops' House, one of the oldest buildings in Sheffield.
