The Sapiens Project

Futuristic 3D games studio in Sheffield city centre where visitors aged 18 and over can take part in a 10 minute 3D photo scan, earn £40, and help build the next generation of video game avatars.

Participants can only take part once, but anyone already scanned can earn an extra £5 for every new person they refer.

Ten24 is creating the world’s most accurate 3D character system. To make it work for everyone, they need faces of all ages, genders and ethnicity.

Every person who takes part helps them make gaming more inclusive and realistic.

Ten24 is a Sheffield studio established in 2011. Their 3D people and tools are used by leading game and VFX teams worldwide.

If you have played a modern game with realistic characters, you have probably seen their work.

Important info: Please arrive with a clean shaven face, no beards or stubble. Please arrive without makeup, piercings or fake eyelashes, as scanning requires a completely clear face. Bring valid photo ID.
