TRIBE is a Bushcraft and Outdoor Skills centre located in ancient woodland on the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire border within easy reach of Sheffield.
It is a family-run Social Enterprise, offering engaging hands-on and skills-based activities to children age 8+, families, schools, youth groups, and adults.
They run courses and activities in fire lighting, shelter building, willow weaving, wild clay pottery, coppice crafts, survival skills, problem solving, bodging (rustic woodwork), carving, natural fibres/ textiles, and more.
The TRIBE Bushcraft Centre is situated in the heart of 90 acres of ancient woodland, traditionally a working wood with hazel coppice for charcoal burning, alongside hardwood production, the woodland is now being managed more lightly and guests of all ages are welcomed to learn the skills needed to thrive in the outdoors.
There are gender neutral composting toilets available and plenty of seating. Wheelchair access is possible in the drier months for those with an off-road wheelchair, however due to the woodland location, the ground is uneven and often muddy.
Parents with babes in arms are welcome to join the adult and family events, however they request that you call first to ensure that the setup and activities are suitable.
