Beat the Pit
A curated mix of experienced comics and new blood step into the Pit. Some will Beat the Pit some will not.
Ten acts. Five minutes each. After 2.5 minutes, the pressure begins. Three people in the room will hold the canary cards. They won’t be announced. They won’t sit together. If two cards go up, the set ends.land. Some won’t. One survives.
The winner takes a cash prize and the Pit trophy.
Mary Street Live is intimate. 40 seats only. There are no extra chairs. There is no standing room. When it sells out, that’s it.
