Fuelled by the ongoing success of the Sheffield EMOM events, a desire to give more of the top performers the opportunity to play for longer, and to celebrate their 4th birthday, it seemed only natural to bring something special to the table.
With Haggler's Corner being Brawny's well established host and home, they have decided to make use of their most excellent spaces to bring you 3 rooms filled with live electronic music. Not only that, but they have managed to secure a few special guests to flex their musical prowess to their ever-growing audience and raise the profile of their Electronic Music Open Mic events.
The cafe will open the event with Experimental Sonic machines who you may have seen lurking around a few festivals with his curious devices and costumes, and finishing with Sheffield's own innovative soundscaper - Leafcutter John.
The Bar will feed their audience all the fun synth-pop and dance vibes, and they'll be headlining with the brimming rave-punk attitude from Jodie Langford hailing from Hull.
For the ravers, they will be blaring out the Attik with a hefty range of Techno and Drum & Bass with the frankly incredible Wonky soundsystem, and will be ending the night with the boundary-pushing Bristolian beast, known as Ben Pest.
Tier 1/2 and 3 tickets (from £12-£20) available are from Resident adviser. The option to show full support for the grassroots electronic music scene you can also but 'Support the artists' tickets, which will be available to purchase at £25.
Profits will be shared amongst all the artists who normally come to play at the EMOM events for free, this event is here to give them something back for their support.
The Sheffield EMOM (and the nationwide EMOM movement), would like to thank the venues, performers and punters for their ongoing support.
