A difficult period in British politics left writer Harry Bucknall questioning whether he really knew the place he called home. Propelled by a desire to better understand our island nation, Harry embarked on a series of four journeys across Britain that would mirror the changing seasons, totalling a distance of over 6,500 miles.

From fresh and heady spring through to the glorious crisp of winter, Harry travelled the land from Mull to Sunderland and Aberystwyth to Aldeburgh, meeting a host of diverse characters along the way as he strove to uncover the beating heart of the nation.
