Open Up Artists’ Studios 2026
An open studio festival in May showcasing over 140 emerging and award-winning artists and makers at 83 exciting venues in and around Sheffield.
Sharing skills and knowledge, Open Up gives visitors the opportunity to meet creatives and inventive people at the places where they work across the city and beyond.
A social event, popular with groups and families, Open Up is free to enter and makes for a great day out exploring the culture of the city through the medium of arts and crafts.Open Up 2025 will take place over 5 days, across two separate weekends in Sheffield.
Weekend 1: Saturday 2 May - Monday 4 May
Weekend 2: Saturday 9 May - Sunday 10 May

The studios are generally open 11:00 - 17:00, but please check the individual artist profile pages on the Open Up Sheffield website, for those you wish to visit.
If you're in Sheffield, look out for the event brochure which will be distributed through the participating artists and in public places a few weeks before the events start.
