Secret of the Stones

Come along for a Stone Age woodland adventure in Sheffield’s Ecclesall Woods this May half term! Growtheatre’s interactive outdoor event, Secret of the Stones, is for families on Thursday 28 May.

Families are invited to journey into the woodland, meet a confused archaeologist with a passion for the Stone Age, and take part in a hands-on adventure to uncover the secret of the stones.

Try your aim with bow and arrows at a woolly mammoth target, create Stone Age-inspired art, and explore the skills our ancestors needed to survive. Blending storytelling, drama, practical challenges and creative activities, this two-hour session encourages children and their grown-ups to imagine, explore and discover together in a beautiful ancient woodland setting.
