Sheffield Comic ARts Fair (SCARF)

Taking place at Trafalgar Warehouse, a dedicated event space in the heart of the city on October 10th 2026, SCARF will host 38 tables for independent and small press comic creators from Sheffield and further afield. With a focus on indie comics and a commitment to providing an LGBTQ-friendly and explicitly anti-racist/fascist space for creators and punters, it will look to showcase the strong creative culture of Sheffield. 

SCARF will be free entry for the general public, and will feature a reading corner hosted and curated by Graphic Novel Reading Room (a regular presence on the comic convention circuit and Sheffield institution), a workshop for kids to have fun drawing comics run by Marc Jackson (of Room for Comics and Macc-Pow Festival) and a licensed bar run by the venue for drinks and refreshments.
