Visit Sheffield city centre on Sunday 21st June 2026 for the first ever Sheffield Krazy Races Soapbox Derby, proudly brought to the city by our headline charity, Roundabout.
Roundabout is South Yorkshire’s youth housing charity, providing shelter, support and life-changing opportunities to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Here’s the best bit: 100% of all team entry fees and sponsorship money from this event will go directly to Roundabout. Every soapbox on the track will be helping to change young people’s lives right here in Sheffield.
Thousands of spectators are expected to line the streets and cheer on the krazy, wacky and utterly outrageous soapbox racers taking on the gravity-powered course.
Get ready for an adrenaline-filled day as teams race downhill, navigating tight turns and racing to the finish line in front of thousands of spectators!
Teams will compete for Best Dressed, Best Design, and Fastest Kart, with the top 10 battling it out in the final race for the winner’s trophy.
Alongside the racing action, enjoy a full day of family fun – from fairground rides to food, drink, and live entertainment. With teams made up of local businesses, charities, and community groups, it’s a true Sheffield celebration.
Don’t miss this historic first – Sheffield Krazy Races promises to bring fun, excitement, entertainment, and wacky kraziness to the city in 2026.
