The University of Sheffield Students' Union Beer and Cider Festival returns for 2026, running from Friday 1 May to Sunday 3 May.
Hosted in the Sheffield SU beer garden, this much‑loved annual festival brings together an eclectic mix of craft beers, real ales, pilsners, and ciders - perfect for celebrating the Bank Holiday weekend.
With live entertainment, great food, and new additions every year, the festival is free to attend and open to everyone.
Come along and enjoy the relaxed summer vibes and exceptional drinks just a short stroll from the City Centre ring road.

Volunteer at the event
Volunteers will serve drinks, sample some beers, and help run the event. Volunteers will also get a Beer Festival t-shirt, glass, food vouchers, and get to attend the social after-service on Sunday and drink any remaining beer. Sign up to volunteer here.
