Snooker Sector Safari

As part of this year’s World Seniors Snooker Tournament, Sheffield is inviting families and young people to take part in a special Snooker Sector Safari – a free, bite‑sized careers trail in the heart of the city.

Set around Winter Gardens and Tudor Square, the short, easy‑to‑complete trail offers a fun and accessible way to explore the wide range of careers involved in delivering a world‑class snooker event. From sport and events to media, design and behind‑the‑scenes roles, the Snooker Sector Safari shines a light on the jobs people might not expect.

Created by Sheffield City Council’s See It Be It team, the Snooker Sector Safari is designed to spark curiosity, inspire career ideas and show how major sporting events can connect to real jobs and future opportunities – all in a short, family‑friendly city‑centre experience.

It is free to take part and open to all – trail booklets can be collected from Central Library and Zooby’s Coffee Shop in the Winter Gardens
