Supper Club with Ammi’s Kitchen: A Taste of Sri Lanka

18 Mar 2026 18.00

Ammi’s Kitchen is a Sheffield-based social enterprise transforming women’s authentic culinary skills into paid work. It brings together local women from different cultures to cook delicious, nutritious, seasonal dishes, sharing recipes that have been passed down through generations. Each meal is a celebration of heritage, tradition and the stories behind the food.

By joining this special Supper Club, you’ll enjoy a beautifully prepared meal while directly supporting migrant women to access paid employment and reduce barriers to work. Your ticket also helps Sheffield General Cemetery Trust continue caring for this historic green space, preserving its heritage and keeping it open and welcoming for the community.

Expect a relaxed, welcoming evening of shared food, conversation and culture in one of Sheffield’s most atmospheric locations – a true celebration of Sheffield’s diversity, community spirit and local impact.

This is a volunteer-led fundraising event for Sheffield General Cemetery Trust (Registered Charity Number: 1103158) with proceeds going towards the charitable aims of the Trust. We thank you for your ongoing support in preserving this special place for generations to come.
